University of Sharjah Innovation Hub

The University of Sharjah Innovation Hub is a proposed interior for the university's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub, a Fab Lab where ideas are developed and made. The design remakes the interior of the existing Men's Library while touching its structure as little as possible. A basement hallway would connect all the rooms.

The Pitch Room is designed with 3D printed GRC walls patterned for acoustics and curved sliding panels that open or close it. Skylights at ground level would light the basement hallway, with LED wayfinding lights linking the rooms. Built-in seats of fluted wood panels would wrap the columns, and green walls would carry hydroponic systems.
