MEAL* Design Innovation Campus

The MEAL* Design Innovation Campus is a 2017 proposal for Dubai, prepared as an investment pitch with no client and no site. It draws on research and workshops with MEAL* (Middle East Architecture Lab), among them the AA Visiting School Dubai. The campus is proposed as a center where emerging designers could prototype their ideas.

The campus would hold large-scale additive manufacturing (3D printing), robotic arms, and augmented reality and virtual reality studios beside co-working space. Across 640 sqm, the plan adds a gallery foyer with a coffee shop and a reference library. It was drawn as a visual proof of concept for investors.
