Wellness And Hospitality Design
MEAN* (Middle East Architecture Network) is an architecture practice in Dubai, based at Dubai Design District (d3), and designs wellness and hospitality spaces. Four wellness and hospitality projects: Repeat Wellness Club, built in 2026 inside a protected 1895 building in Barcelona, and three proposals: the Members Club & Fashion Incubator (Dubai, 2023), the Desert Pavilion (Wadi Rum, Jordan, 2020) and the Blue Clay Country Spa, a competition entry (Kurzeme, Latvia, 2017).
All projects: Projects.
Repeat Wellness Club
Repeat Wellness Club fits a sequence for movement and recovery into a protected 1895 building in Barcelona's Eixample, with clay walls and Catalan vaults.
Members Club & Fashion Incubator
A proposed members’ clubhouse and fashion incubator for Dubai: five brutalist precast buildings around a central pool, for people in fashion to meet and work.
Desert Pavilion
A proposed 3D printed pavilion that welcomes visitors into the desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan: printed panels on a bent steel frame, a place to rest and gather.
Blue Clay Country Spa
Uncanny Valley, a competition entry for the Blue Clay Country Spa in Kurzeme, Latvia, is a proposed timber spa using its site’s clay and wood where possible.
